Some of our direct and contract experience includes the following products.
SPACELABS HEALTHCARE
Our experience includes long term projects such as this anesthesia machine used in operating rooms. This project included concept to production design and development of electro-mechanical sub-systems and cosmetic components. FEA was used to develop the framework and retraction mechanism. A combination of pneumatic manifolds, sensors, regulators, and proportional valves were used to match the flow requirement estimates from CFD.
BRANDT AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS
Brandt wanted to give customers a 3D view of the Grain Vac's inner workings in a product advertisement. Digital Proto created this rendering using SolidWork's Photo View 360.
MIDWEST GENERAL REPAIR / JAKEL
Digital Proto provided Jakel with SolidWorks training and a customized setup. This included custom templates for parts, assemblies, and drawings, as well as toolbox setup. Our experience in sheet metal manufacturing provided them with valuable training specific to their operation. To help speed up the transition process, Digital Proto also assisted with the 2D to 3D conversion of parts and assemblies of various products.
KUHN NORTH AMERICA
Prior to the development of Digital Proto, some of our unique engineering design experience comes from developing consumer products such as the Kuhn hay merger and new GMD mower. Products like these and others were taken from concept to production. The designs included sheet metal, structural steel, rotation molded plastic, hydraulic systems, lighting, detailed drawings and testing.
PEARL VALLEY ORGANIX
To assist with the planning of their new facility, Digital Proto modeled the proposed building as well as existing and proposed machinery. This allowed Pearl Valley Organix to verify that the equipment would fit as planned, as well as optimize the location of each component. This minimized the length of conveyors and decreased dust generated when material transitioned between conveyors. The foresight that Digital Proto's building model provided also helped Pearl Valley Organix minimize maintenance and setup costs. During setup, dimensioned drawings created from the 3D model ensured accurate machinery installation.
HP PILOTS
HP Pilots used our services to develop their new 3D Pro meter. Digital Proto took their ideas and sketches and developed the DXF nested profile for laser cutting multiple sets of parts. We also created the graphics and a matching nested profile that could be printed and attached to the plastic sheet prior to cutting.
GIGPAD
The Gigpad was developed for an artist who wanted a pad to protect his guitar from scratching when playing at venues. He provided a rough sketch and description of what he wanted and Digital Proto designed a product that could be easily molded.
